Which Sports Exhaust To Fit On Yamaha Tenerè 700...
Hello and welcome to MotoDecibel the sports exhaust store!
In this article I want to give you the right information and advice if you are looking for the best sports exhaust for your beloved two-wheeler.
Today I want to talk to you about the much-acclaimed Yamaha Ténéré 700 to give you a complete overview of the models mentioned and what I consider to be the best on the market today.
I will explain the differences and product qualities according to the price range and design of each model.
In this section I will tell you about the indicated headers that you can combine with or without a sports silencer:
The headers can be type-approved or not and, depending on the model, you can combine them with a sports tailpipe to obtain a complete exhaust.
The manifolds can also be fitted to an original silencer, but would require remapping of the ECU.
The manifold can give a great benefit to our bike in terms of improving exhaust gas flow and heating.
You can install manifolds with a catalytic converter for good performance and improvements over the original, or you can install a racing manifold without a catalytic converter for excellent performance.
The difference depends on your needs and the performance you want to achieve, obviously the non-catalysed version will perform better.

In this section I talk about tailpipes that you can install on original or racing headers:
The tailpipes vary from model to model depending on whether they are made of stainless steel or titanium, and whether they have carbon parts.
These details will give an improvement on the weight and design factor.
The performance factor remains the same.
Installing a silencer will not require any modifications to your bike and can even be fitted to the original headers if you do not want to install racing headers.
Installing a sports silencer will benefit you in many ways.
There are 4 factors: Sound, Performance, Weight and Design.
These 4 points are really important and make a marked change once installed.
Every rider, myself included, as soon as he buys a new bike the first thing he thinks of changing is the silencer itself.
Some have a preference for design or some for sound, but the main goal is always the same; to change the exhaust as soon as possible.
Having a simple silencer without headers can give very good results and will not require any changes to the engine.
Obviously, if you decide to install a full sports exhaust, what you will need to do to optimise performance is remap the ECU.

What difference can there be between one drain and another?
Let's start from the fact that whichever sports exhaust we want to fit will still give us a benefit.
The bike will be smoother with the delivery, it will heat up less, it will optimise fuel consumption and it will be lighter than keeping the stock exhaust.
Having cleared that step, the thing that can make the real difference is the design and how you use your bike.
If we have an Adventure/Offroad bike the ideal exhaust is one with a shorter tailpipe to be less prone to damage in the event of a fall and to be less bulky when riding.
If, on the other hand, our bike is a super Sports/Naked bike, surely the part that will dominate, apart from performance, is the design.
It all depends on what one prefers and finding the right compromise between price and quality.
I personally give a lot of importance to the design for example, I don't care if an exhaust can give me a few extra horsepower or not, the important thing is that it's of good quality as a sound and that it's cool to look at.
Obviously this is the opinion of a two-wheeler enthusiast with no great pretensions, because if the aim is to look for a product with the best possible performance, then it's right to leave out the design part... but I think that if you're here you can understand me perfectly and that none of us is the Marquez of the situation!
The crux of the matter then is to first assess your needs, and then assess what budget you want to devote to this product.
In terms of performance and sound, you're bound to get a big improvement with whichever exhaust you decide to buy.
For the rest, you'll just have to consider which one you'll love the most in terms of aesthetics combined with the right budget to invest... because let's face it: "A flaming exhaust that thunders at every gear change is an indescribable symphony for us riders!
That's it. I hope I've given you a clear overview of which sports exhaust is best for you, and I hope I've cleared up any doubts you may have about your next purchase.
The best exhaust is the one that's best for you.
In my store you will be able to find all the current top of the range products that are always up to date, and what I recommend is that you take a look quickly to take advantage of the limited time offers I am making...

If you don't know me yet let me introduce myself:
My name is Fabio and I have been a rider for 10 years now, I come from Motocross and over time I have also become passionate about 2-wheelers on the road.
Thanks to my passion and experience in this world I wanted to build my own successful business in the world of 2-wheelers, but the main thing, to lead my company to become one of the largest suppliers in Europe for the resale of sports exhausts.
Now you might be asking yourself: why did you choose this particular product?
For the simple reason that when I was racing and accidentally got into an accident, I would always end up damaging my bike's exhaust, so I had to buy a new one.
When I got into an accident, I had to buy a new one.
As time went on, I dealt with a lot of dealers and was never fully satisfied with the service I received, so I said to myself: why not give people like me the chance to receive better service and support in this regard?
So I had the idea of opening a store focused on sports exhausts, and now here I am to give you my best support to get you the right information you need on your next purchase.
After my brief presentation and that of MotoDecibel, I wish you a lot of fun riding your beloved two-wheeler...
All the best and see you next time!

Some technical data on the Yamaha Tenerè
Yamaha is offering an updated version of the Yamaha Tenerè 700 for 2021. We saw the first protype of this fantastic bike in 2016 and from that moment on, fans of white roads and adventurous dirt tracks found the right bike to satisfy their desire for adventure. Yamaha was able to bring to the market a bike with excellent off-road performance at an affordable price, two factors that immediately contributed to the success of the Ténéré 700. But the undisputed star is the parallel twin-cylinder engine with cross-shaped crankshaft capable of delivering incredible torque at low revs without neglecting adequate power in the mid and high revs for excellent and fast behaviour even on tedious transfers on state roads and motorways necessary to reach the right roads for this bike.
New version for the historic Japanese enduro powered by the 698 cm3 CP2 twin-cylinder engine, derived from that of the naked MT-07 and Tracer 700, modified in the ECU mapping and with shorter gear ratios to suit off-road riding. Built with 'serious' off-road riding in mind, the new steel double-cradle frame has a bolt-on lower section for easy replacement when necessary and a very short wheelbase to increase agility. The Kayaba suspension compartment sees an aluminium swingarm with remote control and an adjustable fork with 43 mm stanchions and 210 mm travel. The front wheel mounts twin 282 mm petal discs with switchable ABS. Many references to racing bikes: instrumentation with vertical development, handlebars with hand guards as standard, articulated and adjustable foot controls and the height-adjustable front mudguard. The off-road behaviour is excellent, the precision on the road is also impressive.
Why yes
Engine output: gradual and easy to handle, it allows even inexperienced riders to have fun - Suspension: absorbs everything, the setting is particularly linear - Ride: the chassis offers true road precision, even in fast bends with the throttle open
Why not
Electronic equipment: poor, lacks traction control or at least a couple of mappings between road and off-road - ABS: effective but lacks the useful enduro function that only deactivates it at the rear
- Weight204 kg
- Fuel tank16.0 l
- Saddle height88 cm
- Length237 cm
FAIR QUESTIONS
Are the sports mufflers you sell approved?
Most of our products are homologated for road use and are delivered to the customer with:
Homologation code stamped on the sports exhaust.
Homologation sheet to be attached to the vehicle registration (no need to update the registration at the DMV).

Non-approved products do not bear the homologation wording on their sheet.
The products do not bear the homologation wording on their sheet.
Products that require the original exhaust to be cut off in order to be fitted do not carry the words: Assembly without modification
in their description.
Are your motorbike sports exhausts complete with db killer?
All our products are fitted with removable db killers except where not mentioned.
Are your products covered by warranty?
All our products are covered by warranty. The duration of the warranty varies depending on the manufacturer (minimum 2 years).
Does fitting a sports exhaust increase the performance of my bike?
A sports exhaust increases power and torque throughout the bike's performance curve. Obviously the performance is not identical for all models and depends very much on the part of the exhaust replaced (silencer only, full exhaust, etc...).
That said, just by fitting one of our sports silencers you will notice a clear increase in performance and a reduction in the overall weight of the bike. "The bike will be much smoother and more elastic.
Does fitting a sports exhaust lead to an improvement in sound?
Installing a sports exhaust will immediately notice the difference in the sound of your bike.
